Tiny dock flowers held between fingers to stop them blowing in the breeze One Bramble flower with a few petals missing but the cream anthers are healthy, brown ones maybe had a frost. Some very big priceless on some stems Tiny grass flowering near the car park, still trying to flower in November Campion flower, called Red but looks pink. Looks like a female flower (the male and female are on different plants) as stigmata visible in the centre of the petals. 5 toothed petals.

Many daisy leaves by the path in this place and quite a few flowers but only one flower looked unharmed by feet or weather. One flower head with white petals and yellow centre which has Fibonacci spiral

One purple flower head, slightly thistle like but not prickly. Water of the Lough behind the flower is blue reflecting the sky. Joyful heads of Knapweed flowering beside the water of Lough Neagh. Seen the patterns on the involucral bracts for first time. The pattern is of swirling curvy lines in pale brown against a darker brown.

Spindle trees are native but not seen in hedgerows much as many were removed due to harbouring black aphid during WWII - the orange seed is an aril, and the pink outer fruits are astonishingly beautiful. Here there leaves are still green but they turn russet colour so I will go back to see this.
