I left my heart in Mexico. I'm an American who is disgusted and appalled that anyone ever voted for Trump. I love books, dogs, nature, photography, 420. I loved my time as an expat. Wife, mom, grandma. I block XXX and ignore fundraiser accounts. I 🤬.

I love her point about people shouldn't have to think about government all the time. We enjoyed that before Trump. I hope we can get our government back, that it's not too late.

I am not at all in to gore, but I think it lets us release a little bit of the anger we're carrying around.

Our government should not be causing wholesale trauma, especially to kids.

Have you ever seen fat layers from the inside? I have a feeling you need more yellow blobs for that guy.

I used to be a nice person.

I read part of a book called Reacher Said Nothing by Andy Martin. Martin hung out with Child while he was working on or avoiding working on his next book. When Child finally settled down to write, he was considering every word, every sentence.

Well, some flowers here seem to think it's spring.

You know those hero posters of his head on a stud body? Maybe he thinks that's really his body. 🤣🤣

For Trump to fat-shame anyone is hilarious.

magic of books already, plus I was a poor kid and wanted the prize. 2/2

I was in the second grade when my teacher had a contest for reading the most books. I think I read more than 100 books in six weeks, whatever I could get my hands on–grade level, above, below. And yep, my teacher questioned whether I coud have read all those books. But I had discovered the 1/2

Way to go! I can think of much worse coping mechanisms.

I'm guessing Australia.

That's a gorgeous one. Western Oregon is a great place to see mushrooms.

The next Democratic candidate will be a man, I expect. There are several potential candidates with a lot more charisma or gravitas than MTG.
November 27, 2025 at 1:17 AM
Yes, she is missing charisma and whatever the hell draws people to Trump (makes no sense to me, but here we are). She has a lot of skeletons and should be particularly vulnerable on her stock trades. In the current climate, though, Republicans don't seem to care about integrity anymore.

I feel you. I am elderly with multiple chronic illnesses, but I am also caretaker to my husband. That doesn't include physical caretaking yet, but it includes everything else that someone without short-term memory needs help with ... and he has complex health issues on top of dementia.

They don't understand how variable a lot of chronic illness can be. They also don't understand how good we are at masking our pain and other symptoms until we can't anymore.
