Ministern hävdar att hen ingenting visste förrän i ”förra veckan”. Den anhörige har nu slutat med nazismen efter långa samtal. Är det ens möjligt att helt avsäga sig en politiska ideologi på några timmar när man varit så djupt insyltad? Säkerhetsrisken kan fortfarande vara aktuell på flera sätt.

So then, “Why are you asking me if he died long ago?” “No, he wrote a lot. He wrote that poor people should not be poor.” I said, “Sounds amazing.” I’m giving you a sense of how naïve I was. After they left, I went to the library to look for Marx. So that was my introduction to Karl Marx.

Det skrämmer mig på allvar att en terrorkopplad aktivist verkar bo under samma tak som, eller åtminstone ofta privat träffar, en medlem i Sveriges regering. Det är den närheten som är problemet, inte att en ung person halkar runt i dåligt sällskap och förr eller senare kan hitta en bättre bana.
