I'm of two minds - they have unanimous senate and all-but-one unanimous house, he can't override with veto. They could be pushing the real thing to get rid of him and blunt MAGA response due to being irrevocably untouchable. They could, also, be staying the course and playing yet more games.

I suppose there's a reason why they're the ghost of William Wallace. Maybe two, if we consider the delusionality and the ill informed full faced confidence.

That it was more or less designed to do it so it could be sold to CEOs of companies for integration is not vestigial.

Conservatism's roots are in the 'right wing' of the French parliament after the French revolution. The 'right wing' was the seats filled by the wealthy elites who benefited from the status quo that had caused the revolution in the first place. It's all about preserving hierarchy of abuse/inequality.

It feels like the last outburst of a doomed villain that we see so often in media. A final "Yes, I'm a piece of shit! I have been the entire time, and I will not repent even on my deathbed!" kind of statement.

Pure, unabashed evil. That's what it is.

Coming out of Pax Machismo into a world where men's legal status is largely equal to women's and information on how shitty men are behaving is just a search away has had an impact on male success in courtship, huh

They, and Machine Guns, were really strong in MW1 though, even if you always ended up going AC/5 and PPC spam in the end.

We have to process, accept, and integrate into our fundamental world view that these have long been instruments of power, not of the people.

Armor class feels like the weakest part of D&D mechanics to me. My players who build tanks try to crank AC often end up KO'd due to dice forcing the attack higher than the AC, and HP isn't generous in early levels. At high level AC still doesn't matter, you just get the HP/relief skills to tank it.

This is the only positive benefit that is consistent. You can't win the determined moron, but you can demonstrate why they're wrong and wrongful.

Generally, you are best off deamplifying, however.
