Blue Prince takes top spot for me as I believe it’s the best puzzle game ever made. If it’s the best then it’s a 10/10 for me. Unique mechanics and unbelievably intricate and detailed puzzles had me writing so many physical notes. The story and music are decent it’s just a shame I finished it.

Other notable things.
Mario Kart World had the best soundtrack, but for new music it’s definitely Clair Obscur, with Deltarune just behind.
Bananza had absolutely the best level and Boss at the end.
Rematch was the most addictive game
Silksong was the hardest game

Other great games: Fantasy life i, Ball x Pit, CloverPit, Little Witch in the Woods, Wanderstop, Tower Wizard, Look Outside, No I’m not Human

I haven’t played Doom, Metroid or Baby steps yet.

Haven’t finished Little Witch in the Woods, Doom Dark Ages, Kingdom Come 2, Look Outside, yet

- a weird one is I believe Rare have loaned out the banjo IP and another game is being worked on by a different studio, but potentially not releasing until 2027. That will be on the Switch 2 imo.
- Nintendo will make a new IP in some way to explore the Switch 2 features. Maybe a survival crafter?

- Finally a promise of Major release each month for a while. What constitutes Major will be called into question.
- Surprise announcement like a Nintendogs, New Switch Sports or New Splatoon
- 3D Mario will be the final game, but they could tease a JPG of new Smash but no release date

- Mother 3 or Earthbound remake nowhere to be seen. RIP
- FZero, StarFox, Donkey Kong, Pikmin, Yoshi and Arms nowhere to be seen.
- Potentially 2 of these 3: New 3D Kirby, New Fire Emblem, New Splatoon
- Major first year release, NEW ANIMAL CROSSING. Souped up new horizons focusing on online/coop?

- Something bizarre and very Nintendo with Online support. Not intuitive but at least functional. Mario Kart 9 is the embodiment of this with like 32 racers or something as a mode.
- Slew of pixel remasters of JRPGs and some nice farming sims.
- Surprise, SILKSONG ANNOUNCED. Launch title

- They will confirm that essentially with DS and 3DS ports, they will also have GameCube ports. Thus EVERY SINGLE NINTENDO CONSOLE will be backwards compatible in some way.
- Elden Ring + Nightreign, other major 3rd party games shown off for console power. Better 3rd party support going forward

- Use of the Joycon as a mouse shown along with either a port Diablo 4 or another Major RTS. Maybe even something like Counterstrike?
- a disappointing showcase of virtual console. Similarly with the Nintendo online service, but once again not porting everything and doing in drips and drabs
