Blue Prince may be Game of the Year contender. Unique and devilishly clever in both mechanics and design.

For there to be a Mario Kart World direct there would need to be a couple of major reveals.

I suspect they will show off Characters, Vehicles and costumes of course.

But a large open world begs for an adventure mode. Quests, races, secrets, unlocks, you name it.

Plus how online works.

I love Arsenal so much.

Rice, Partey and Merino dropped masterclasses.

But Timber, Lewis-Skelly, Saka and Martinelli, Raya and Kiwior also dropped awesome games #ChampionsLeague

A big win for the Trump administration today over Nintendo's new Mario Kart, which allows you to play as a turtle, a ghost, and even a cow — DEI gone too far

Had another stinker here. But fantastic #direct imo

Under-discussed topics for the Switch 2 Direct:
- Do they bump 1st party game prices to $70? (TotK was a test; could explain mentions of Switch 2 Enhanced games; helps cover tariff costs?)
- Do they skimp on internal system storage again?
- Do they avoid the word Luigi because of, you know, memes?

#Switch2Direct predictions🧵:

- Mario Kart 9 open
- Fully open world 3D Mario
- showcase of C button meaning dual screens transitioning into DS and 3DS games being ported, perhaps something like Kid Icarus Uprising Remastered?
- Switch 2 enhanced ports of popular games, specifically BOTW and TOTK

If I had to predict this Nintendo direct:

Heavily focused on the games coming in the next 4-5 months before a Switch 2 release.

WW and TP HD ports seem obvious.

Metroid Prime 2 + 3 HD before ending on Metroid Prime 4

More indie ports.
