I always love people critizing rewarding kids for good behavior as negotiating or turning them rotten, like being nice to your children and them behaving themselves is some kind of vicious cycle that just has to be broken.

My "I share warnings about the fucked up shit so my trauma can serve a purpose" warning for the day: do not look up any reference to the actual content in the "Elon let someone posting CSAM have their Twitter account back after deleting it" controversy. The less you know about it, the better.

(Maybe) hot take: someone cheating on some privacy assessment isn't that bad. These e-learnings have been objectively useless for privacy (or security for that matter). This kind of compliance theater we make colleagues go through is actively hurting our cause and I'm tired of pretending it doesn't.

So on that note: Microsoft decision to rename AAD resulted in a name way too similar to an application name we already have. So I'm looking forward to all the headaches I'm going to get from people confusing them.

So I decided to keep my bluesky more infosec/IT related for now, so I can more freely use twitter for my Feyenoord obsession. These are two niches that rarely overlap and I always felt bad to one part of my (small) follower base when I posted something so that solves it!
