But it seems to me that there IS a line. Humans are the only species capable of causing the extinction of other species, including our own. Uncharacteristically, I’m not hopeful, but I’m trying to take comfort in Goodall’s optimism: “…there is hope…It's in our hands… it’s really up to us.”

Ferry came up with the line "t'ain't no big thing to wait for the bell to ring" when he heard a Trinidadian guy who worked in wardrobe say "no big ting", and I sometimes cite his pronunciation when I'm confronted with posh white people on the reggae scene who insist on trying to speak patois
