I put the 4 halves in a bread bag overnight. Next day, crusts no longer crunchy but still tough & insides had dried a bit. Not enjoyable to eat as-is. Cubed both loaves for croutons. Lesson learned! Will try again soon and stick closer to the recommended bake time. 3/3

I really wanted a dark brown crust, so I kept bumping up the time. Well, I pushed it too far and they came out too crusty and hard. Could barely cut them when cool. However the inside was nice and fluffy. 2/
