I often return to bread recipes from King Arthur Baking. I've had the best results from them. This sourdough recipe is simple and made a tasty loaf, hearty enough for a sandwich, and probably one of my most photogenic! 📷🍞

For the Super Bowl last weekend I made these wonderful #Sourdough Discard Pretzels. Delicious! Glistening with melted butter, they might not look much here but they are so good! Soft, chewy, and a bit tangy. Went very well with cheddar cheese dip. 🏈🥨

I really wanted a dark brown crust, so I kept bumping up the time. Well, I pushed it too far and they came out too crusty and hard. Could barely cut them when cool. However the inside was nice and fluffy. 2/

A dish I made over the holidays: Thanksgiving Pot Pie. Use up all those leftovers! Based on American Thanksgiving dishes, could be Christmas or other feast holidays. Hot water pastry crust was really easy!
