For his heroics, the asylum seeker was shot, kicked in the head, and now faces deportation. Today, the government also announced they are implementing Zionist lobbyist Jillian Segal’s plan to oversee Australian public life from education through to arts orgs and immigration. It’s completely fucked.

Maybe I’m missing something. Maybe I’m just an idiot. Maybe I’m the one who’s wrong.

But I honestly can not see why anyone needs to own a gun at home, let alone multiple automatic/semiautomatic weapons of war! If you like shooting, fine your guns can stay at the gun club. No one needs guns at home.

If Albanese was serious about antisemitism, he would never have appointed a prominent Israel lobbyist.

Following the Bondi massacre, he is now stuck with responding to a 'plan' that draws more on Netanyahu's worldview than evidence of what works. #auspol

The top 100 licence-holders in NSW own more than 13,000 weapons combined, the data shows, many of which are located in metropolitan areas. Some licensees have more than 300 weapons." That's according to the Guardian. It's a scandal. Gun ownership must be strictly limited.

Sadly, the gun lobby here is so powerful that Australia is moving in the US direction. Oh, and a "sovereign citizen" shot two police officers dead the other day.
As long as guns are easily available to crazy people, mass killings directed at so-called soft targets will continue. This is a fact. Countries where it's more difficult for crazy people to obtain guns have less shootings. This is also a fact. Do with these facts as you will.

And the Australian government is giving $7m to the Murugan temple in Sydney. If only we had a law prohibiting government subsidies to religion—any religion—as in France.
Where even the right to serve Lord Murugan in a temple is decided by 'pedigree based on caste'. I guess we would discussing the evils of caste even after 100 years from now - it is so deeply entrenched.
