This sounds SUPER similar to executive dysfunction. I have pretty severe ADHD and it plagues me CONSTANTLY. I'm literally sitting in bed right now stressing about a project I should have started like, four hours ago, but I physically cannot make myself get up to go do it. Insane!

100%. Disregarding the employment aspects of it—what could someone possibly stand to gain by treating people like that? It makes me think of that one Roald Dahl page. It doesn't matter how beautiful your art is; if you treat others poorly, it leaves a bitter taste in EVERYONE's mouth.

I've heard so many horror stories of people in the industry struggling to network at all because of how they acted in school or in other workplaces. Plus, it's just a weird thing to do. Like...why? I don't get it.

I think a lot of people forget that the internet is open access. You might think it doesn't matter now, but if you use those same accounts for portfolio work or networking, potential employers can see that kind of stuff! And nobody wants to hire someone who's gonna bring that kind of energy!
