in an ideal world it'd provide a platform for my friends & most anyone else to profit off my work in perpetuity & we'd all feel less of the stresses of capitalism, y'know? (do you know? could you stand being overshadowed by your equally or more talented friends? i love the shade.)

but it's also just being an an(art)chist lol. if shifterverse makes it to publishing it's going to be a ttrpg under creative commons sharealike. maybe with attribution. what do you MEAN you want granular control over how your audience receives & reacts to your work. i want the opposite of that!

this is real btw. elon loses much more than he makes on twitter and i doubt he's going to figure out how to break even on it with these record losses. twitter blue was only meant to offset that and we're still talking losses to the tune of ~$270 million in Q2 2022. even his ad revenue is way down.

i don't think i ever even told my friends what i found that burned that bridge for good, because frankly nobody should have to know that shit is real. i can take it because i was an edgy ass teenager who desensitized myself to death and carnage, but i feel like i have to guard it from others.

i think he came at the right time, bc i figured out the extreme end of my tolerance for bullshit is when stuff from the ABCs of Death starts to happen around me. i had all the gullibility seared out of me with a boot to the ass heated to boiling and i'm truly better off for it

the gamedev sphere really went "pixel art is expensive to make" and then completely failed to iterate on tools that could make it easier and i hate it. i hate everything being "remastered" in 3D. i saw them do it to phoenix wright and cried. i fucking love pixel art. give it back.
