As I’ve said for a long time, the fact the “worst constitutional crisis in Australian history” resulted in… a slightly early election makes it very hard to make a compelling case for change.

Interested by your take that it’s likely not a final timetable. I find it hard to see Wefo/Westall shorts through the day given the relatively modest overall funding

I suppose the counter argument to breaking at Ararat vs Ballarat is that a BOG means the expense of a new depot and transfers to Melbourne etc. committing at Ballarat would at least open the possibility of extensions towards Geelong and Mildura at a future point
