Congestion Pricing was just a first step to trying to reduce the excessive driving.
But we can do SO MUCH MORE. The DOT, the Mayor, and agencies need to track VMT, reduce it, and set an actual goal to do so.

Cars are multiplying faster than people. Since 2010: 10% more cars, and just 1% more New Yorkers.
And most of the cars on our streets are PRIVATE vehicles (not trucks or taxis or Ubers!) and they are the main reason traffic has gotten SO BAD!
