I got curious around 2016 and fell down a rabbithole, started with intermittent fasting and then tried multiple days. Water and electrolytes are crucial. I do think there may be an element of disordered eating in the sense of control since I was on an orthorexic streak at the time

Ah may you have a meaningful yom kippur, I’m rather embarrassed I forgot (even though I remembered this morning), sorry about that! It can be disordered eating-ish depending on how it’s approached but I do kind of miss being able to do it, 3 days every month or so did amazing things for me

If you stick with it you end up in a weird state of inhuman calm (and significantly less inflammation) but it’s so hard to get shit done in that state so I haven’t for years

Uber is so bad about separating corporate from personal accounts that my phone/email are permabanned from it because I logged in once to the corporate account and separately someone else at my company got their corporate card associated with the company uber account stolen
