All the videos we see of ICE/police/military assaulting people on camera are happening because they know they will face no consequences for their actions. They're breaking the law because they believe the law no longer applies to them. What kept them in check before was fear. Now they have none.

One thing that bothers me. Magic and prayer in times like this clearly don't work the way we wish they did or he would have been dead years ago. I ponder the sheer number of voodoo dolls, names in jars, or burnt orange effigy's that have no doubt been done in vain and it bugs me
