Our man is still alive! He just turned 97, according to Wikipedia. I love that he granted 2 Chainz permission to sample "Dope Peddler" in 2012.

Nah...too big for his hands...

*Sigh* Yes, we have Argue o' Clock at our house, too. I feel your pain, truly.

Bret Stephens is a complete, limp, dripping, mildew-speckled waste of print.
March 15, 2025 at 5:53 PM
He posted on Bluesky pretty much saying he would vote for it.

I'm counting the days until primary season, though it's a while coming.

I think the answer is everyone and no one.
February 22, 2025 at 12:11 AM
Some Democrats are so over to the right that they're sitting in McConnell's lap, but OK...
February 5, 2025 at 11:06 AM
Beat me to it. Since I've stopped reading the NYT and haven't seen a Brett Stephens column, I've been slamming my fingers in a drawer every few days for a similar effect.

Seriously, isn't all this cause to declare Trump incompetent? Something, something, 25th amendment?

Not that Vance is much better, but one removal would be a start.
February 1, 2025 at 11:15 PM
Finally, some good f#cking news...

Though, could we please stop posting articles from the NYT, that milquetoast, flaccid pub that hides in a corner at every opportunity? I'm sure AP or Reuters covered this, too, and without a pay wall.

Bernie has stamina that I can't even comprehend--imagine questioning these clearly incompetent candidates day after day, knowing you've been warning people and party for *years* that this was coming, and now having a front row seat to this fiasco.

Respect.

Considering the red-state push to lower minimum working ages, I'd say that's a "yes."

She wasn't very popular with the rank and file--her lack of response with Fouled Anchor and other policies didn't make her the worst commandant ever, but she wasn't the best, either.

I'm sure Trump didn't know any of this and fired her for being female. Her replacement will probably be vile.

This is untimely, unless this is the one government function that can happen over a weekend...
January 17, 2025 at 2:03 PM
That's a chance I'd be willing to take. I'd listen to whining all day in exchange for the ultimate socialist utopia. Just sayin'.
January 17, 2025 at 4:07 AM
I completely understand this will be a s#itshow, and I did not vote for the Cheeto. I'm just saying that I believe this country needs substantial change, and the current Democrats are not pushing for what we need hard enough and what people want.
January 14, 2025 at 10:25 PM
I can't speak for everyone, and I voted for all Democrats, but I wasn't enthused about it at all. Harris and Biden were for the status quo, which I don't want! And many people don't, either. I want my children to live better than me, and while the GOP isn't the answer, neither is what we have now.

It should have been him.
