Am I the only one that thinks using AI images to promote a contest while in the same breath saying "AI images will be disqualified" is a little hypocritical?
Not naming names, but here's a bare-bones example.

you can opt out in your channel settings!

worth noting that this doesn't apply to quality settings that already exist (i.e. if a video is in 240p, the actual original 240p version is still viewable)

this change sucks but it is so much easier to navigate around than people are pretending it is

There's a new setting in Settings: Privacy & Security.

Scroll aaaaaaaalll the way to the bottom and you'll see "Text and Image Generation."

TURN IT OFF.
Screenshot from Windows Settings>Privacy and Security>Text and image Generation. "Text and image generation uses on-device AI technologies to quickly respond to requests. Turning this settings off will not affect apps and features using cloud AI technologies. Text and image generation Windows and anyone using this device can use Text and image generation.
