In a recent job posting for a GoA nurse consultant, one of the key responsibilities listed was something to do with understanding and advocating on behalf of the 'vaccine injured'.

Matt's comment about Carney setting the bar for his own performance is true, but I disagree about JT. Trudeaus care deeply about 🇨🇦 & Canadians, something I don't see from Carney. Sadly, JT would not have been the right choice in the face of Trump's tariff war but I don't think MC is either.

By using the notwithstanding clause pre-emptively - which, again, they *can* but *need not* do - the UCP is not simply admitting that their laws are breaching Charter rights and bypassing the courts.
They are further admitting that their laws cannot be justified in a free and democratic society.

I knew Carney was a blue Liberal and I was totally on the bandwagon for two reasons. 1 Obviously to keep the cons out of power and 2 his book made me think he cared about the environment and Canadians. I was naïve. He may be worse than Harper.

Listening to an analysis this morning and the CBC host (missed her name) said the budget has several points specifically designed to appeal to the NDP, but I'm not sure what those points are yet?

I'm honestly wondering if Carney had a long game all along, wrote his book based on what people wanted to hear & once he became PM, abandoned all pretence of anything but protecting corporations. Still watching the analysis but it seems like a trickle-down ideology which has been shown not to work😞

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the cons are favorable to environmental damage because they think it would break the treaties based on the language"as long as the grass grows, and river flows"

I saw that Bill Gates has changed his calls from fighting climate change to reducing the suffering from it. I'm not a Gates' fan but that really struck me. Cowards have elected selfish cowards and left nothing for future generations.
