The Labor party have ridiculous solidarity rules which prohibit MPs engaging in critical thinking and having principles and a moral compass. When you elect a Labor MP you elect a robot who just parrots the talking points the leaders office sends you each morning.

Not that Jillian Segal has bothered with any references at all in her report - none. I had to go looking for it myself as her entire report is unevidenced/uncited

It seems the envoy doesn't want to bother with citations, she just wants you to take her word for it

They do, they pay a deposit when they file the protest, and if the protest is rejected that deposit is forfeit. Here's the decision document, take a look at item 21, down the bottom

Oh definitely a different situation, I just am a bit confused at them saying "Because the collision had no immediate and obvious sporting consequence[…]", cause I thought they weren't meant to take into account e.g. whether someone who got crashed into continued on fine or had to retire

I thought the stewards weren't meant to take into account the overall consequences of an incident, only the incident itself... Has that changed? Did I misinterpret what that meant in the first place?
