Anyone see this in New Zealand?

Ooh, excellent cast - it’s radio, so I hope they spent some time together, in the studio - first time I saw David Tennant on stage was with Richard Wilson, in What the Butler Saw, at the National.

Goodness, we’ve reached a point where Alfred Enoch is playing Henry V, for the RSC.

Well, there was an actual reason I didn’t watch 9, and it wasn’t just because I never bothered with Doctor Who, as a child, because it was stupid.

So, just when I’m enjoying myself…

YouGuv survey on telly watching habits… how many hours a week of BBC, SKY, ITV…

YouTube? Well, 15+, because it’s the summer and Middlesex will be streaming a four day match every week, so I have their YouTube channel on, for 20+ hours of cricket.

But it makes me sound like a teenager.

You might think there is absolutely no reason to see The Great Gatsby, The Musical, but Jamie Muscato. Also Corbin Bleu.

And I was there!

Well, I was there on the Saturday, so I saw his last couple of runs, then Willis and Edmonds bowling Pakistan out in their first innings.
Ian Botham in his pomp, bowling in the 2nd Test v Pakistan at Lord's, June 19th 1978. He followed a century with 8 for 34 in Pakistan's second innings. He took 7 for 14 in 13.5 overs to finish off the match as Pakistan collapsed from 108 for 3 to 139 all out

Magnificent.
On the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, we thought we'd answer a question that's often asked,

"If they raised the Mary Rose, why not raise the Titanic?"

I’m not a fan of Pride and Prejudice (there’s no coming back from that first proposal, every time they argue, she’ll be all, “right, coming from the man whose sense of my inferiority is a degradation…”)

I’m definitely not a fan of Laurence Olivier.

BUT STOP CALLING THE 1995 VERSION ‘THE ORIGINAL’.

I bet we wish we’d had morals and forfeited the points against Afghanistan, rather than concede 325-7.

The Tempest was fine, but she was dreadful.

Much Ado was dreadful, but they were fine.

We get it, Hiddleston likes dancing.

It’s him from Company and lots of British Telly: fond of Jonathan Bailey, loved his Getting Married Today.

The first Shakespeare I did, it turned me into such a Lancastrian that I would go to Westminster Abbey and lurk by his tomb, and jump out at tourists, to defend Henry IV.
