We’ve met with Greta Thunberg and others in the flotilla. They describe hours-long scenes of torture and sexual harassment in Israeli captivity. Experts conclude that they have been subjected to serious crimes – Sweden’s foreign minister believes they have themselves to blame.

Mary Daisy Arnold was cooking here. A late career masterpiece from one of the foremost painters of fruit of the early 20th century.

Outrageously cynical and damaging.
"So, at this point, the story began to change. [...] The concern was that if [donors' identities] were made public, it would leave [them] open to anti-Semitic abuse from Corbyn supporters.""

The presence of a Cypriot team in the Chmapions League has got me thinking about how it is in the interests of UK imperialism for the island to be divided.

Don't get me wrong, it IS completely shameful. However, I think "shameful" lets Starmer (and Trump) off the hook slightly, and "ally" mystifies the relationship that the UK and USA have with the ongoing genocide (e.g. they are actively invested in it rather than passive but chummy bystanders).
Yesterday the UN declared that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. Today Keir Starmer rolls out the red carpet for Trump - Israel's biggest ally and a cheerleader for its atrocities. Shameful.

As ever, "law and order" rather than ethical critiques are typical of some whose moral development is at the level of an 8-13 year-old.

I wasn't on the counter protest today, but I should have been. The next counter protest needs many, many more there there. 5000 is nowhere near enough.
It's physically unsafe for people like me to go into the centre of our home city this Saturday on account of the colour of our skin.

Most politicians are either failing to stand up to this or actively contributing to the situation.

We don't owe any of those politicians our votes. Not one of them.

Now it's been revealed who the killer is, it is really wrong for it to be seen as political violence, imo.

I've seen many more Christian Crosses in people's usernames online recently - usually attached to some opinion that would usually be associated with fascism. I usually feel I can mentally bat away a lot of awful dangerous stuff I online, but the presence of the Cross really touches a nerve.
