Stannis Baratheon's #1 shooter. Lover of the macabre, searcher after horror. Cinephile; Norman Taurog's camera never falters. Stoogeposting. Any/all. 30
I've had the first few episodes on Spotify but if it hooks me for the long haul I will have to figure out how to do so sans ads

THE EGO: You are going to be normal. You are only going to believe things that can be tested and proved
THE SUPEREGO: Trust nothing, every perspective is biased, every side is spooks and charlatans
THE ID: Just one more mystery bro one more whiff of the ineffable Beyond I swear

Bigfoot is to me psychologically what God is to normal people

Not even joking when I say I have had the thought "I should become a filmmaker and direct a Bergman movie about The Silence of Bigfoot"

Even I think a lot of the alternative & punk snubs are ridiculous. The Pixies? Sonic Youth?? Goddamned Joy Division???

Reminds me a lot of Rotting Christ's 2010s stuff, which is better, but this is still pretty damn good

It's a damned good hoax. Patterson was an obvious huckster fraud but it's such a great object

Eclecticism*

Hell the first time I listened to White Zombie even they were a little much for me...

I think it's good to have strong preferences but I also think those preferences ought be forged in eclectism. A lot of my strongest preferences are the result of forcing myself to listen to things I had a knee-jerk reaction against (had absolutely no taste for screamed vocals until I was an adult)

I've always been someone who prided myself on my willingness to listen to everything and I do stand by that though my particular interests and loyalties definitely fall along certain lines that are more sharply defined the older I get
