Years ago I was having a pint in the Minerva pub in Hull and a sad bloke was pouring his heart out to the barman. He ended his sorry tale with the words ‘there’s got to be more to life than the Humber’ I heard those words in my head as I returned to that pub today. Wonder where he is now.
