As I sit here in waiting in the drs office I wonder why do boomers listen to their phones on loud? Then I tried to think empathically and realized it would be hard to read subtitles. Then the critic in me realized, glasses are much cheaper/available than hearing aids. Grumph.

I have never understood why people complain about undocumented immigrants stealing jobs/not paying taxes but never the people that hire them.

We were eating #Digiorno for dinner and my kid asked if we picked up the pizza or someone brought it and I finally got to utter the words of my generation - “it’s not delivery, it’s Digiorno”. Needless to say, it was lost on the little genA kid 🙄

That’s what the oligarchs want. For us to unplug so they can continue to gain more power. I feel like it’s too late now. BLM, me too, Covid, nothing has changed. The majority of people just accept it and go on with their lives. Could you imagine how much easier life would be without empathy?
