I found this beat up Susan B. Anthony dollar which seems in the context of our times to carry the weight of multiple levels of symbolism…

I snuck a photo of the Swan Lake curtain call. It was a beautiful production all around.

I am traveling to Ireland next week. Is Leo Burdock really the best fish n chips? Is there an interesting pizza to try? Who wants to go to see Swan Lake with me? Is the Jelly Bean factory in Snugborough really just a jelly bean factory? I have so many questions. Where can I find a good cookie?

My beloved Bumblebear passed away last weekend in a tragic accident. I have had many pets pass on in my 45 years but this one leaves a hole in my heart that will never mend. I held him in my arms as he died. To feel the life drain out of someone you love, so quickly. The pain of our whole world.

Our beloved dog Lacey passed away on Tuesday. She loved meeting people, new and familiar, so for those that never got the chance to know her, some photo memories:

So much love and light, with a puppy dog, gathered now at the horizon time, where we hope to meet her again. Never in the meantime will we find a better friend.

I bought a bunch of blu rays.

Frozen Planet
Blue Planet
Robocop Trilogy
Dark City
Godzilla Vs Kong
The Bourne Complete Collection
L.A. Confidential
The Bill & Ted trilogy
The Green Knight
The Prestige

I wonder what can be inferred of my me-ness from this list...

reality well established,
the tyrant delighted
at the languid pace
by which the grass remained
ungrown

drawn by dream communications
towards the unborn sun

the universe behind him
a tangle of unfinished skeletons
twisting and percussive,
dull chimes in the work
of some unaroused wind

My yeasts spend too much time in the back of the fridge these days, but they still know how to produce awesome yumminess when the opportunity arises.

the sensible world
is bending out of view

we hear a well placed
crunching

and the fog is full
of things called
cinders

a few seconds
of serious whispers

and next one last
request:

the purest tenor voice,
original if mechanical

moving the universe

what wondered
the wandering knight
that night

when altered birds
burned all the altars
