As part of the $200 million deal Columbia made with the Trump administration, an outside monitor will assure the school complies. To critics, this represents an unprecedented governmental intrusion into the affairs of a private university.

So freaking messed up … results of our subpar education system and MAGA bubble warped thinking.

Done with IDF bombs, weapons the US provided, done with ICE arresting farmworkers and seamstresses, devastating hard-working families, done with the violent hate in this country, a country that rhetorically still tries to pretend it is above all others. We sink lower, lower (Loomer) by the day.

An LAPD helicopter claimed to have ID'ed protesters from above and threatened to "come to your house."

The threat was greeted with extreme concern by civil liberties and digital privacy groups. It suggests the LAPD could be using facial recognition to identify and retaliate against protesters.
