This category has always been sort of a joke, but at least 25 years ago they were still nominating actual comedies like BEST IN SHOW, BRIDGET JONES'S DIARY and LEGALLY BLONDE. This really is a dark timeline we're living in.

SCREAM 7 in February. THE COMEBACK Season 3 in March. I choose to believe happier times are ahead.

Happy 30th anniversary this month to Jodie Foster's cult classic #HomefortheHolidays! My favorite Thanksgiving movie that still doesn't get enough love. 🦃🍁

Don't look at me. I'm just vibing.

Slept on this a couple years ago, but it's cute if unremarkable. I appreciate that it feels more aimed at people going through midlife crises than kids. I respect that.

I hear Bradley Cooper made another Oscar-bait movie about a troubled relationship. Must be Tuesday

Being terrorized by Ghostface(s) sucks, but I'm not sure it's worse than living in Indiana.

When I hear someone say the original CHILD'S PLAY is the only good Chucky movie

I didn't expect this Ed Gein MONSTER series to also be about the making of PSYCHO and TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE. It's making me wish they had made a dedicated Anthony Perkins miniseries instead. This actor is pretty good, but his scenes feel random, scattered and sensationalistic (not Ryan Murphy!).

Halfway in kinda mixed on this so far. Toni is great as always, but she's not in too many scenes and there's not a lot of suspense or dread throughout. It plays more like teen/YA ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST. It does have a lot of queer characters which is a plus. I'll finish it out.

There's a lot of kicking and punching and double-crossing here, but I'm not very engaged by most of it. I guess it passed the time on a lazy Saturday afternoon, but I don't regret not seeing in theaters. A movie seriously in need of an identity (which the first one at least mostly had).

SCREAM always parodied itself better than SCARY MOVIE could ever.

#NowWatching I swore off this show like five years ago, but why not? The world is a clusterf*ck anyway. 💀📺

Was this even five nights

#NowWatching I remember seeing CABIN IN THE WOODS and SCREAM 4 in theaters with my buddy and thinking "Meta horror is back, baby!" Instead we got about a thousand CONJURING sequels and knockoffs, but oh well. CABIN is still a blast.

It's been a very tough week and there's a lot more difficulty ahead. A comfort marathon might be just what the doctor ordered for now.

I bet they attend national teacher conferences together and gossip (Resurrection doesn't exist).

Not sure if this revival has been really good or just really watchable. Either way, I'll take it after those blah last seasons of the original series. One ep left. #DexterResurrection

Still feels like a made-for-TV shadow of the original film, but it has its moments. I actually really like the prologue with the younger actors and Hannah Waddingham. They should have greenlit a prequel.

So this is what comedy looks like in 2025? It's... something.

I bet Roseanne and Tom Arnold were devasted that weekend
