Many libraries also have mechanisms by which patrons can suggest/request purchases. One simple way to help combat book banning is to do the opposite - actively/proactively request queer books, & books that detail accurate history, etc!
This supports authors (money!) & library staff (data!)

Another thing you can do for the queer artists and writers and so on whose work you admire this Pride month: go give their books etc solid star ratings on (sigh) sites like Amazon and Goodreads. Because people who hate the existence of that work are always gonna be punitively low-rating them,
