Hamas considers this war a success. They don't surrender so they can continue to sacrifice their own people for their cause; official recognition of their own terrorist country. I disagree with Bush on many things, but he was right about the impossibility of negotiating with terrorists.

It's easy to laugh at these shaky #Chinese designs, but there appears to be more variety in the knee joints alone than the number of robotics companies in the #humanoid race in #America. Competition drives innovation, something the US seems to have forgotten in pursuit of greed.

The fact that we like #Crumbl cookies at all (and that this is a news story) is a comment on the American #diet. A cloying excuse of a cookie, heaped with cheap toppings for a false sense of indulgence — If we wonder why obesity is up and life expectancy is down: this is a signpost.

Nuclear power could be wonderful for America. European countries have Breeder Reactors. China has made some truly amazing breakthroughs with Thorium salt reactors. But there are some countries that should not be anywhere near our nuclear grid, and Iran is absolutely one of them.

The #Republican party abandoned conservative and moral principles years ago to carefully create a scenario where they hold all the cards and have their thumb on every check and balance. There are many people questioning #Trump, but they are finding that's all they CAN do.

This, coming from the company with arguably the oldest and least impressive modern #AI. #Gemini has great potential with access to #Google data, yet it is playing catch-up to industry leaders. I can get better images from #OpenAI, better code from GitHub #Copilot, and better answers from #DeepSeek.

The irony of cheering for this is that it may result in forcing Google to open their database of previously anonamized personal information. Google maintains this lead position because they don't allow direct access to advertising profiles. This poses a huge privacy risk, depending on enforcement.

#Trump is the best thing to happen to #China and our rivals. It will take decades to stabilize after this destruction. Hopefully, those who follow after can put better guardrails in place and end the worst aspects of the crony capitalism that has infected #America for too long.

So begins the process of destroying the #CFPB from the inside out. The bureau is simply too popular. The #Trump administration knows that even as they defund it, they need to create a situation of failure so they can later justify the action.

By this logic, my financial advisor ( #DOGE ) can advise me to save $9 on the ingredients to cook dinner, and then I can reward myself by putting a $28 dinner at a restaurant on my parent's credit card. #Trump logic, folks.

#Biden made mistakes. He listened to fearful advisors who wanted him to run again to defeat #Trump. He didn't rest before a debate, for running the country is too important. He trusted the judicial system to end a #Trump candidacy. Those are the mistakes of a proud American and upstanding president.

If we ever go to war with #Europe, #Vance will quickly learn that all the most expensive weapons don't mean anything when the soldiers who are supposed to wield them can be easily defeated with an opposing army of doctors offering free #healthcare.

#Trump is handing out political victories. Whether it's karma, or coincidence, "5D Chess" or true idiocy, it seems #BernieSanders, #AOC, and #China are all going to be the real winners here. With some luck, perhaps that win will also translate to the American people.

When did it become OK to minimize and laugh at the pain of another human? Is it this same attitude that ignores how Hamas treats their own people, shooting them for trying to get aid or evacuate before an attack? No one, including the people of Gaza, deserves to be dehumanized by someone like you.

What I want to know is why these people are stepping down. They should be refusing to leave their post on the grounds that doing so could enable illicit activity.

The Palestinians in Gaza are NOT citizens of Israel. Many have work permits that allowed them to travel to and work in Israel, but from the taxes they pay, to the laws that they have to follow, they are cared for by Hamas.

Under the 2005 withdrawal agreement, Israel provides civil service to Palestinians, but everything else, including law enforcement is by the elected government in Gaza, currently Hamas, as part of a plan to move Gaza towards independence, so long as they prevented terrorist attacks against Israel.

It will take months or years for him to recover from his abuse and untreated injury, not counting mental trauma. That's not "good health". Now, you could have said that about Yaha Sinwar who had a fatal brain tumor removed while a prisoner in Israel, because they actually do treat injuries there.
