They liked the way the article came out and it was a very fun project to take on. After the piece went live, they asked if I’d be interested in some pasta.
As a pasta dish merchant I couldn’t say no and they sent me some of their Al Bronzo and Protien+ pastas to try. Pretty cool!

There is a special satisfaction that comes from watching a team in the bad times and watching them figure it out, a payoff that makes being a sports fan so special.

When a team goes on an unlikely playoff run, it is often overlooked because it didn't end in a championship. Do we diminish the small bits of joy because of our obsession with judging by ring count?

The Steelers will be wearing these this weekend. The thing about these centennial jerseys homages is that they always feature the khaki pants, since that was indicative of the era. These would be passable and decent with black pants!

Was messing around with some breakfast stuff today. Croissant toast topped with egg, pico de gallo, corn salsa, and topped with cilantro lime dressing.

For Kim’s birthday we treated ourselves to some dinner at Whiskey Prime. Steak was aged for 45 days and finished with rosemary and thyme. Broccolini was with tahini and lemon, a great meal!

Heading into Sunday Night Football I was expecting a fantasy football loss. But thanks to Dalton Kincaid I snuck a victory out. 5-0 on the season!

Anyone that knows me knows I absolutely suck at making desserts. With this chocolate truffle kit I was muddling around with yesterday, I made these. A decent variety of chocolate, s’mores, orange, and mocha espresso variants. Didn’t turn out too bad even if they don’t look so great 😂

The Lakers extending Luka was a foregone conclusion. But I do find the fact that it’s only three years with a player option very interesting.
I think there could be a lot of pressure on the direction of the team the next two years to sell Luka on the future and the next contract.
