I am officiating at the Canadian Weightlifting Championship at the Genesis Centre in Calgary. I enjoyed judging the female 58 kg category last night.Not sure of the reasoning for no pictures when you have good athletes and watching males lifting over twice body weight.

As per Wayne Wilson, Olympic Weightlifting develops strength and total body explosive power. Speed is the essential element of the Olympic lifts. No athlete can develop their true potential for muscular power without utilizing the Olympic lifts.
