I think you’re miss interpreting his post. It could be interpreted as saying that republicans are using the topic of trans care for youth as a way to strip healthcare from adults as well.

I don’t defend democrats on trans issues, I think we’re nothing more than a political football to them and they can do the bare minimum in supporting not taking our rights and score culture war points… push comes to shove they don’t give a shit

As a “trans American”, I would say that we shouldn’t be competing in most athletics, there should be much higher scrutiny for letting kids under the age of 16 -18 recieve gender affirming care, and self id laws could be altered.

But as a 35 year old adult, leave me and my healthcare alone.
