That would be amazing but they have to be enrolled in a grad program or they lose the nsf grfp…but I have another undergrad in going to tell this to!

NSF has a (dumb) rule that you can defer 2 of 5 years but only if you are enrolled in a grad program already. Your student will need to try to scramble for admission this year to accept the award (see the award FAQ). I have a student in a similar boat. www.nsfgrfp.org/fellows/faqs...
