Hi folks! If you are a US-based PhD student interested in the development of gender stereotypes in childhood and do not have summer funding, consider applying for VIPS. Reach out to me by email. This is separate from my previous message about adol/lgbtq projects.

Anyone looking to take an amazing clinical psych student who would come to grad school with an NSF GRFP in hand? Interests in stigma, adversity, but flexible! (Side note that it is awful that nsf doesn’t let you defer, apply next yr w/grant in hand, and just count that as 1 of 2 deferral yrs)

Our field is being decimated. I know that’s the point, but I also know that there are many who understand the importance of our work. I hope those folks help us find ways to continue. It may be starting with our work, but we won’t be the last field targeted.
It’s been a devastating 24 hours with 3 NIH grants terminated…all focused on the health and wellbeing of trans or intersex youth. If folks have any ideas of foundations that may be interested in supporting the completion of these projects so years of work aren’t wasted, please let me know. 🙏
