Republicans Closing Clinics | Minnesota DFL
Minnesotans deserve health insurance that won’t bankrupt them, but Republicans in Congress would rather shut down the government than let that happen. Their Big Ugly Bill slashes Medicaid, drives up c...

Why is this man giving medical advice?
Every day he finds new ways to turn the US into a giant insane asylum.

We congratulate Laura Askelin, the winner of the 1st annual Mike “Kenner” Kennedy Organizer of the Year Award for her outstanding organizing work and dedication to advancing DFL candidates and progressive causes. Her first political job was as an organizer on Tina Liebling's successful 2004 campaign

If 200,000 Minnesotans lose health insurance coverage due to Brad Finstad's votes, it will have broader consequences
● Hospital closures
● Overcrowded ERs
● Longer wait times for everyone
This will hurt all Minnesotans even if they still have health insurance.

62,000 +140,000=200,000 people in Minnesota who will lose Medicaid coverage/have to drop ACA plans due to premium increases due to Brad Finstad's votes

200,000 people losing insurance- That’s the population of
Rochester and Duluth combined

Having Brad Finstad in Congress isn't good for our health

Shutdown in 5 days.
Republicans went on vacation instead of working to prevent it.
ACA exchange insurance premiums are spiking in CD1: +$229/mo ($2,748/yr)
Nearly 90,000 Minnesotans hit with 54% higher premiums.
Call Brad Finstad and tell him we can't afford the Republican rise in insurance costs.

Democrats are the party of affordability for working families. Republicans are the party of Trump and his billionaire friends. Which side are you on?

Trump takes jobs

America is worse off with Trump.
● If a super-supporter claims otherwise, give them the facts.
● Rising prices, disappearing jobs, failed promises ‒ all evidence of economic failure.

Promises made. Promises broken.
Prices up for families. Taxes down for billionaires.
That’s the Republican record.

Congratulations to Jake Johnson on earning the DFL provisional endorsement for MN's 1st District seat in Congress. It's well-deserved. Let's back him and help him make this Brad Finstad's last term in Congress

There’s no longer any pretense this has anything to do with crime (there are cities or parts of cities in SC and Ohio that have higher crime rates than DC — send the troops there!). This is about establishing a precedent for Trump seizing control of the nation’s capital when he wants to.
WASHINGTON (AP) — South Carolina, Ohio also sending National Guard troops to DC in further escalation of federal intervention in Dem city.

It's harder to represent people iwhen you won't talk to them face-to-face.
Rochester, MN citizens have been trying tirelessly to meet with Brad Finstad, their congressional representative. Please read below. Can anyone help get Brad in a room to listen to the people?

The DNC is leading nationwide protests with partnering orgs against the GOP’s gerrymandering efforts. Make a post and make it clear that we won’t let Trump seize control.

Thanks to the DFL, families in Minnesota are saving an average of $1,000 per student per year with free school meals. Good for kids, good for parents.

Republicans caught cheating again!
In a wide-ranging investigation that concluded this summer, the state’s Campaign Finance Board found that a key figure behind the PAC called Right Now Minnesota misclassified more than $240,000 in expenditures during the 2022 midterm elections.
Minnesota Republican PAC violated campaign finance laws, investigation finds
Right Now Minnesota claimed to have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on “internet access and web hosting.” It actually spent the money on behalf of political candidates.

The Texas Democrats are walking out to block gerrymandering, fight against the encroaching authoritarianism, and it’s making national headlines
But it’s also a reminder:
The fights that shape our future nationally often start in state legislatures

Across Minnesota, parents and teachers are paying more than ever just to get kids ready for school.
It’s no accident either. Tariffs and education cuts from Trump are straining an area that’s already stretched thin.

Chaos is not an economic strategy.

The incompetence of the Trump regime and his obsession with tariffs are raising prices and hurting working families.
And people are noticing.
