Mint is wonderful! If you have any interest in tinkering at your own pace, highly recommend it. Linux has come A LONG way since the 2000's, it's a lot of fun and can be as simple as plug 'n play.

i think that programs shouldnt be able to make themselves startup on boot, but it'll never be an option on windows sadly. never had that problem on linux as far as i remember?
