The fact that the observation lounge is open 24/7, even if the cafe is closed, is really saving this leg of the trip. I know it's not anyone else's fault...or problem...that I'm fat, but that doesn't mean I want to spend twelve hours with a stranger's elbow in my ribs.

I'm on the second leg of a 5-train journey (intentional; I wanted to ride the City of New Orleans specifically, so I'm taking a looping trip). It's currently 23:25 and I've just woken from a two hour snooze with my mouth tasting of "my fellow passengers must love me so much right now".

I had two separate dreams last night in which two separate people made casual reference to the Hate Yam having dropped out of the US Presidential race and it honestly took me a minute this morning to realize they were dreams.
