It was nice to see some fall colors! I wish I could tolerate sitting outside and painting longer better in autumn/winter.

The path around the bushes is stone tile, and there's a dark blue lamp post on the left. All the trees are green and yellow mainly, with some oranges and reds. More paintings. Maybe I'll do a short series of studies on just dogs in portraits (the best part), I really enjoyed it.

A close up of the best part this Veronese painting in the Met. A greyhound with floppy ears and a red collar looks to the left. The person posing for the portrait has a hand touching their chest, seemingly holding them back. It's a very loose painting with rough brush strokes and details mainly on the dog. In my opinion it looks like this greyhound is inspecting their wealthy owner's pocket for treats. Quite timeless.

Ghost pup is from her upcoming short film Morning morning!! I had a lot of fun coming up with costume ideas. A lot of things suit a glowing puppy. ✨
Ghost pup dressed as a shooting star. They're glowing brightly, and their head is stuck through a big star with the star tail like a cape behind them. The bg is a textured cerulean with pastel stars on it. Ghost pup coming out of a retro tv glowing brightly with static. The vibe is slightly spooky, but ruined by the puppy's clumsy and harmless energy. I'm glad I watched this vhs after all.

Huge thank you @blairbraverman.bsky.social for trusting me with your dogs and Leap's story!! 💕 As a longtime uglydog, I couldn't be happier. Easily some of the best reference photos and videos I've ever gotten.

It's the release date of The Day Leap Soared!! To celebrate here are all the dogs doing some interpretations of "reading."

I was messing around with my set up for an upcoming event and Brioche came in to browse my wares. It was very cute so I decided to paint an approximation.
A brown and dark blue siamese cat with white paws is in a museum or gallery looking at art. There's a portrait of a blue and peach colored spaniel, a painting of a stick, the corner of a triangular ear, a long yellow and brown dachshund, and the big painting which the cat is staring at is of a smiling yellow lab under a tree. The cat looks somewhat unimpressed. It's possible he was looking for the food court.

They are using a vpn because they know public wifi is not secure, even in dog world.

The background is bright red, and their tail is spiky. It is implied that they are making an unearthly shriek.
