I first saw this company name in those early tchotchke pages of Vanity Fair, so I knew instantly they came from the funding world and not the rolance world.

Still resting the hands, so my little pufferfish guy is a digital painting and not a sculpture (styluses are easier on the joints than beading needles or clay) but I’m pretty happy with him. He had a lot of subtle colors that were very fun!

It is especially bold (derogatory) that they’ve gussied up the position of “unpaid slush pile reader” into something that sounds more like “prestigious literary award judge” if you’re new and eager. DO NOT VOLUNTEER FOR THIS, I BESEECH YOU.

Publisher expenses should come out of their share, not out of the initial royalty pot.
They deduct expenses and THEN still take 50%??? If they’re not for-profit, why do they need that profit? 🧐
