As a councillor, I’ve been passionate about increasing participation of girls and women in sport, enhancing green spaces for better recreational amenities, developing playgrounds and play spaces, supporting community activities and inclusion. Now I get to further that work in my day job!

The zero commission card aims to put money back into Limerick’s economy and encourage local shopping this Christmas.

Media platforms and social media are important but social media particularly can be very noisy - you have to do the groundwork and meet people. It’s one of the good things about Irish politics, we have met, have opportunity to meet, or know our representatives!

In a three week election campaign everyone is in a rush 🤣 and the dark evenings won’t help, trying to properly read signs on doors can be challenging!

That’s good to hear Sharon. We’ve had only a few leaflets so far in my northside neighbourhood but most have knocked. Having a Ring doorbell this election is useful to see who knocks. (I’ve obviously been doing some knocking myself!)
