🏳️‍🌈Happy Pride Month!🏳️‍🌈 Today's #medievalart #illustration is inspired by 'Le Roman de Silence', a literary piece that depicts a girl raised a boy who name themselves 'Silence'. They are accosted by both Nature and Nurture (and Reason), who argue over whether Silence should remain a man. Find yourself!

Another #medievalart #illustration. This time, thinking about the time they dug up a corpse and put it on trial.😅
📜Pope Formosus was a pope that sided with a duke over the king of Italy, leading to the next pope to put his rotting corpse on trial! They mocked his silence and 'grinning' throughout📜

Happy #AprilFools ! Another #illustration in #medievalart style. With #signalgate being both hilarious and terrifying, I struggled to find a medieval equivalent. Stanczyk was a purported jester known for his wit and philosophic views. So, I imagined him being accidentally invited to a war debate! 😂
