I couldn't help but think of that, and learning briefly some of the other insidious connections these people had throughout various industries, maybe I really did dodge a bullet.

At least once, I got stopped in the mall as a kid by these people claiming to represent some sort of talent or model agency. I was so excited, but my parents were like yeah no way. As I got older I couldn't help but wonder if they were related to traffickers or really were scouts for fame.

On a different note, what about families like mine that are incredibly mixed, how many pieces of my ancestry would count if someone asked me where my ancestors are from? Does recency matter, or numbers or? (Not that I know my whole ancestry) Does it even matter? Does that contribute to a bad system?

isn't true when it's said against yourself?

Like for example, as a queer person, I have to bear in mind that even if I find different pockets of community that I'd like to rally with, I have to be very careful because even in these communities there's a lot of bigoted views on queer people. Why believe lies and bs against some, that you know

Added difficulty in literally everything that people don't care about. If people have a hard time connecting fascist dots to the ways the u.s. has treated different races, point them to the unhoused. The brainwashing so deep, many don't even question.

People without homes are immediately dehumanized, called trash, and at best are harassed and have to constantly move around in accordance with laws and at worst arrests, institutionalization, and killed. Illegal to help them, feed, and house the unhoused.

An extremely narrow or impossible window to fill where the person has never used or drank, had no hand in their becoming houseless, and had better look the part and act crazy grateful. People deserving basic dignities is so difficult for people to comprehend here. It's so frustrating.

But in her little story she referred several times to a focus on wanting to only give to a 'real homeless person' which you'd think maybe she's just worried about those stupid scammer stories, but no she meant someone who didn't 'deserve' or 'choose' to be houseless.

There's some states pro trump leaving and others not, but even in those states, the citizens aren't just blindly accepting maga status. Which is also citizen vs govt. Maybe what we have is something different entirely or a hybrid but I don't think I would say solely civil war 🤔

we get to the true root and figuratively weed it out. I will never have a good word to say about trump, but I'm glad he's made the cracks and issues so obvious, that perhaps they may be finally addressed instead of glossed over.

I watched it and saw the social issues etc, but many I talked to just wanted to explore the violence and talk about if they would murder if they had the opportunity. These antisocial traits have been deep within this society since the beginning.
