I bought this album at Fopp in Dundee the day it came out, and I have wanted to see Cat Power ever since but I have never managed - there never seemed to be a Scotland show when I was in the country. Finally, November 2026 at the Barrowlands. Incredible. I can’t wait.

I have been saying this was the intention for 5 years now and people just don’t want to hear it. “He can’t DO that!” they screech, as if ANYTHING means anything anymore.
They’re serious about a Trump 3rd term in 2028. He’s not making all these renovations to the White House if he plans on leaving.

Every time I watch Personal Shopper I just end up staring into space in deep introspection for about an hour afterwards. When someone asks for a recommendation of a ‘lesser known’ film, this is almost always my go to. An extraordinary film with a spellbinding Kristen Stewart at the centre of it.

I have been going to this cinema 2-3 times a week for more than twenty years, since way back when it was the UGC. Genuinely gutted by this news. No idea where to go now.

Terrible Guinness aside, Bruges might be the best city in the world. I’m not complaining by the way, every other beer here is great and you don’t come to Bruges for Guinness - I just get one everywhere out of curiosity and this one was very bad.
