If The Met was taken over by the government, troops deployed to London streets and the assumption that this would be rolled out across the country… I’m not sure we’d shrug and carry on with business as usual. Just me?

Pool lanes. A rant. There is an undercurrent of lane politics at the lido that is worthy of a phd. As I have nothing better to do ( other than pour another rose ) let me try and outline the features of this this… minefield for BlueSky
in awe of the woman who went to shout at the teenage lifeguard at the pool because "I'm too slow for the fast lane but too fast for the medium lane" and was trying to get her to move some of us medium people to the slow lane for her convenience, a level of entitlement rarely witnessed in the wild

🚩Cassian is incompetent now apparently because ‘the script says so’. Fails to pilot a Tie, gets captured like a chump

@snell.zone Bebuttoned Kindles are a hill I will die on. I got through the touchbar MBPro’s era by keeping faith with my 13” 2015 Pro until I maxed out an M1 in 2021. Same approach with Kindle buttons. I’m locked in for 2030 with stockpiled reconditioned 10th gen Oasis. Pray for my battery health.

Apple Mail is hot garbage. ‘Send Later’ feature straight up does not work. Worse, it silently fails and loses data #apple I queued up a bunch of mails to go out the next morning and got in with my life. Next day, there are all the mails still waiting to go out. Then they’re gone but not sent.
