Had our first real date night in ages last night (we’ve been to shows, but always with a pretty strict time limit) and we spent it dining at Kinto, the Georgian place in Fishtown which was SO GOOD. I only regret I couldn’t eat more food. So freaking good.

I’ll never get people who find cooking *relaxing*. It’s like “here, sync up these 6 timers, and sometimes something is on fire, and if you do this part in the wrong order you will poison your loved ones, and oh yeah, sometimes one of the timers is just wrong for no discernible reason good luck.”

I have officially lost 40 pounds since February! I can’t really tell anyone in my actual life because most of the women I know, while very nice, are the type to say “oh, I haven’t been to the salon in two years,” so you all get to hear it.

Wow! This Emmys was off the hook and I’m so happy about it. Congratulations to The Pitt for beating the odds, that’s crazy, they deserve it.
