"limited public transport and ticketing knowledge" - seems pretty essential to me.
The review found deficiencies in a number of areas including poor communication, "optimism bias" from some senior programme leaders, limited public transport and ticketing knowledge, slow decision making, the "urgent need" to support legacy fare collection systems, pressure on budgets and the "very high likelihood of further significant delays".

It is an asset. Do not sell assets as this is a short term solution. If you sell it, Mainland Parking (Wilsons) will buy it and put up the prices at both here and The Crossing, making a huge profit. Keep it as a car park. Put the fees up to $1 more than it is now to make it commercially viable. Plenty of other parking spaces are way more then this. You last increased charges in 2021 and inflation needs to be accounted for. I want the money I pay for parking to go to the good work the Council does for us, your ratepayers (and keep rates down). Ignore what Wilsons charge at The Crossing - I would never use them anyway. Trying to stop the dog from running headlong through the dog flap at full speed and then hitting her head when the door is covering it. Concussion or a broken neck are real concerns.

I have added stripes to the door so she can see.

The other situation in the article is a doozy. I suspect the poor husband will not have a natural end to his life if he gets dementia.
My husband is 10 years older than I. We are fortunate to both have individual KiwiSaver accounts with healthy balances. My question is: If my husband requires residential care, if we do not qualify for any state rebates/assistance, and if I am also over 65 years, does my KiwiSaver count as relationship property and therefore have to be used to fund his care? Of course, I will support him, but I don't think it is fair if I am then left with very little KiwiSaver in retirement, as I have saved for retirement since KiwiSaver was introduced. Yes it does. I have had quite a few emails over time from people who are concerned about this prospect.
