They're attacking Alex Pretti for having a gun. But here, from Zeteo, are some (in)famous moments when Trump and the right treated armed protesters like heroes.

Great news. This is what an ICE agent looks like in a mugshot. Meet Gerardo Rodriguez, 45, of Temecula, courtesy of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office. Arrested for "illegally detaining a minor at gunpoint while off duty last week." 🧵

Larry Krasner charged the largest volume of Philadelphia officers for misconduct in nearly 40 years – a seemingly splashy case for a former civil rights lawyer who has made prosecuting cops a cornerstone of his two terms. Yet the DA has been unusually quiet.

Phang: It is a fundamental premise of the law that there is no requirement that a criminal defendant be forced to testify to explain away the government’s evidence. Hallagan went to law school and knows better, but she’s so stupid that she made that misstatement of the law to the grand jury.

Augusto Pinochet is almost eighty-three years old, and justifying his actions, clarifying his place in history, is on his mind.

NEW: The Supreme Court's conservatives halt a preliminary injunction that had restricted the Trump administration's ability to rapidly deport migrants to "third countries" where they have never lived and where allegedly face torture. All three liberals dissent. www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/24p...
