I am an order of air-breathing arthropods that has eight limbs, chelicerae with fangs generally able to inject venom, and spinnerets that extrude silk.

Don't worry, he'll be fine. He's just sloughing off his outer layer in preparation for emerging from his hard exoskeleton; molting is a regular part of his species' life cycle.
